Materialism is a toxic construct that has been formed for everyone to be a certain way in how they dress and in what they do.
Materialism is a toxic construct that has been formed for everyone to be a certain way in how they dress and in what they do. “Holding on for too long can give you rope burn for no matter what you do, the weight of it will make it slip from your hands over time. The longer you wait, the worse the burn.”-AT
They say we all have to meet up to the conjectures of the known world of fashion and the way our body should look. We need to let go of that. That blindness you get rejecting yourself could make you close minded. “Materialism is the main cause of many of our problems associated with lower levels of well-being. There is less prosocial interpersonal behavior, more ecologically destructive behavior, and worse academic outcomes.” ()
In the end it makes us our worst selves mostly because we’re trying to be anything but the person we already are. Your style is an Art and remember to always put your effort into making your life easier and the people around you happier. We are all just human. We’re all trying our best.
It’s not inhumane to cut some slack for the people who act as low as they do. Although judging others and acting in an irrational or violent way makes you no better than them. Therefore, you should not judge them. I’m not saying you have to forgive them but be understanding of why you and them may have toxic traits, too. The first step is confronting yourself if you want to move forward.
I believe everyone can change and some just choose not to but that is on them. It is on you to change yourself for the better and become more independent and mature. You have to let go and grow. We’re all like flowers that way. There are wilted flowers that don’t make it out of the winter but don’t be that flower. Grow and keep growing and trust that your beauty will bloom, too.
